ECS Rear Spoiler in Gloss Black - Golf Mk6 GTI/R

Upgrade the exterior styling on your 2010 - 2014 Volkswagen MK6 GTI / Golf R with the ECS Tuning Gloss Black Hatch Spoiler Extension. Our Hatch Spoiler was engineered in-house and designed to follow the curves and lines of the body to offer a more aggressive look that matches the factory appeal of the MK6 GTI and Golf R. Crafted from high quality vacuum formed gloss black ABS polymer that is enhanced with UV-stabilizer to achieve its world class appearance and durability provides a sporty style that's sure to set your vehicle apart from the rest. Installs atop the factory hatch spoiler with no drilling, cutting or any permanent modifications. 

 

PART DESIGN

  • Designed and engineered in-house using state of the art 3D laser scanning and CAD technology for precision fitment 

  • Accentuates the OE body lines throughout the outer edge of the spoiler

  • Designed to be an offset of the OE spoiler with a seamlessly integrated duck bill for the most OE plus appearance

  • Utilizes 3M double sided tape for a strong bond to the body on the top and bottom side of the OE spoiler to avoid any paint chafing

  • Made from lightweight, vacuum formed gloss black ABS polymer that is enhanced with UV-stabilizer 

 

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

  • Our ECS Gloss Black Hatch Spoiler was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.

 

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

  • Once you have the spoiler lined up, simply remove the liner on the pre-installed high strength dual sided tape sections and press the spoiler firmly onto the trunk lid. See our Installation Guide for general surface prep and installation. 

  • 4 sterile antiseptic alcohol wipes (ES2918127) are suggested for proper installation.
